Gonna take a look at this thing tomorrow, i was hopeing the di-electric grease would help (thinking it was maybe a false contact causeing some sort of a short) but the car began to act up again today. i'll be going back to the drawing board and checking all things again, i never got around to burping the system so i'll do that tomorrow aswell.
Anyone got any tips on how to figure out if my water pump has failed on me? so far i havent lost any coolant and i dont hear any weird noises coming from my engine bay except for a squeeky POS aftermarket throw out bearing.
Just to refresh anyone jumping in on the thread who may have useful info and doesnt want to read the whole thing...
My car is operating completly normal, however my fan is turning off at odd times causeing the engine temp to go up. if the car is moving the engine temp will remain normal and not rise, however once i am idleing at a dead stop the engine temp will begin to go up. this does not always happen i have days where the car will perform flawlessly and then i have days where just after a few minutes the fan will shut off and i begin to overheat. I have replaced the Fan, Fan plug because the original plug was melting and i read that it is a good idea to replace the fan because the fan is what may be causeing the plug to over heat. I have also replaced the fuse, and thermostat so far for good measure.
If anyone has any experience with this issue please feel free to chime in, any info is appreciated.
