I I can't find a highflow 255lph fuel pump for the 98 model gt and I was wondering if the bbk 255lph fuel pump for a 97 will still work in my 98gt?

It would be nice to get a answer cause my procharger should be here by the end of the week and I need a fuel pump and maf to get it all setup... I've got a 4day weekend and it's the perfect time to do it, I just need to know what pump to order.

i'm sure you will get an answer but i hope its an answer you will like, Also, i read that you have done the pi swap... you do know that your compression is 10.5:1 and that is pushing it for a blower. your getting it trailered to a dyno and getting it tuned before your starting it up right??? b/c i wouldn't even bump it over with that much compression and boost...

you have to modify the basket to use the pre 98 pumps, i don't know exactly what is done since i haven't personally done it.

Votech (the Blower Co) makes a direct swap 255lph for 98's and i've heard its just a Focus pump and that you can use the Focus SVT pumps on 98's like 99-04's.

Thats what i read over on Stangnet about 2 months or so ago...there was a thread about this and i think it was Randy S that said you could use the Focus SVT pump in the 98's as a direct swap.

A 255 comes with the procharger kit. Along with the injectors. And drive very careful to tuners. DO NOT go into boost. Are you gonna install it yourself?

You really think 8psi is too much?? Even if the tuner take timing out? I got the vortech pump (but went through jegs, because vortech wanted like $230 and I got it from jegs for $190) and yes me and my dad will be installing it ourselves, He's got most of the mechanical know how and I'm a go-for, but thats how you learn I guess.

you can handle 8 psi fine with a solid tune. I would not hit boost though until you get it tuned.
