Do you guys see SN95s becoming as desireable as those '60s-'70s muscle cars are today?. How long do you think it will be till they are considered "Classic American Muscle"?

Maybe but i doubt it, None were knock you off your feet badass vehicles. The 95R was sweet and i guess the Cobras will always be worth something but overall the 94-98's were considered heavy and under powered by todays standards. we never had a 427 option etc...or a special edition like a Bullit or Mach 1.

not to mention the fact that there were 9,000,000,000,000,000 of them made.

I agree with the '95 R being worth coin in 25 years... You guys forgot a few... How about clean, low mile Boss Shinodas, removable hardtop Cobras, Mystic Cobras MAY BE worth something someday to... someone!!! the tuner cars with ultra-low numbers will be worth alot to some as well. Will my '95 GT be worth a substantial amount on coin in the future? hardly... My $0.02...

Then why do y'all freaking own them? It sounds like y'all hate them already. There doesn't have to be a special model for them to be classics. It helps, true. I'd imagine your reaction if this was not a 94-98 forum. It is all we really are.

nobody hates them, its just they really aren't anything special. I don't think there will ever be another set of cars like the ones from the muscle car era, regardless of what they are.

I dont hate my car, it just has an assload of miles and isn't stock... most muscle cars that garner a ton of money are numbers matching, rare, and have low miles

The question was do we think they will be classics, not if we hate them.
Look at all the 60's/70's era cars that bring the big bucks.... they are all the special edition and big engine cars which we have very little of in this era. A few will hold value but not like the big block and boss's from the 60's and the Terminators and GT500's of today probably will.

This is my favorite bodystyle but i'd be a fool to think my car would bring big money in 25 years.

Sorry, hate, was kind of a strong word. I am totally OK with somebody running into my new paint job! I get a little upset @ this kinda stuff. I told y'all I was screwed up in the head. My bad! I have a bunch of drama-f'ing-queens in my life. I guess it rubs off. Damn them!!

ya know,,,, I disagree with you guys. sn's will be classic. That's just based on years. The real question is will they be collectable. I think yes... eventually. Most of you know I have a '66, 6 banger coupe. Not a highly sought after model, true. so why do people drool over a slow, non handling, not really reliable, can't stop in the rain drafty, rusty mustang. Beause it's over 40 years old and it's still around, and there's a lot of aftermarket parts out there. Our cars handle, stop, go, and are a ton more comfortable than the classics. The foxes are just now going up in value.
In another 15-20 years if they survive our cars will be collectable too.

^^ What he said! Foxes are going up in value despite the fact that there are MILLIONS of them out there, our body style was the "Modernization" of the Mustang of today. I dont think ours will be Boss 429 money, but they won't go to be as much as a run-down civic is. In 20 years, I will have my car(hopefully!) and people will be like "wow, look at that thing, it looks mint but its 35 years old!". Kinda like when we see a mint condition fairlane, we dont admire it for what it is, we admire that it is still around and looking good!
