Will the shifter from my 95 work with a 92 AOD trans?

I have a 1992 AOD trans that i'm using for my build.. I have the TV cable and everything and the means to set it all up - the only quesiton I have is, are the shifter (automatic obviously) from the fox bodies the same as the SN95's? I know they look different, but is the layout the same? (P R N D 2 1), and are the distances between them the same? Are they interchagneable, and just look different?
