Window/locks/mirrors have no power

Hey guys, for the last few months i have had no power in either of my windows, and I also can't adjust the mirrors either. The wierd thing is that the power door lock button doesn't work on the drivers side, yet it works in the passenger side. Any ideas what the problem could be? I checked the fuse and it seems to be fine.

the doorlock system that is used is called a 5-wire system and when you get a loose connection you get what you ahve described. Try pulling out the drivers side door pull and see if there are any bad connections on the back of teh switch. Have you checked any fuses?

yeah i checked the fuses earlier and seemed like it was okay. I also took apart the door and reconnected everything, still no luck

Sounds like you need a new switch...

yeah thats what i was thinking earlier. only thing is that the window switch on the other side doesnt work either, yet the power door locks button does.

now you said you checked "the" fuse earlier, does that mean you only checked one? If that is the case then go back out, don't even bother with the manual and pull and look at EVERY fuse in the box. It will take less time then using your manual and you will be suprised how often the fuse that is blown has NOTHING to do with what you were checking. I think they would tap other circuits for power when they needed it and it was convinient so it is almost funny to look up after and see what that fuse was listed as.... I would do this before you start throwing parts at it.
