Window Problem?

so i was on my way to the beach and my driver window started messing up on the driver side (its power) and it still works but just goes up and down to certin points and it can go all the way down and up but i have to help it by pulling or pushing and u push the down button with it all the way up and u can hear the Motor trying to work but it just keeps making a knocking noise. So i was just wondering if u guys knew what was wrong im bout to tear into it tomorrow but i wanna know what i need to look for. thanks

Look at the window stickey at the top of this page, it explains it all, its actually 3 small bushings inside the motor itself that grenade themselves you have to replace them. You can get them at advanced or wherever or you can buy 1/4 nuts and never worry about the bushings grenading again.

Its a easy fix i can get my window up and down now but i have to keep hitting the switch down and down it goes down in small increments now. i think my motor is weak. It goes up just fine though so i have yet to take it back apart again. i think i paid 10 bucks for the the small little poly bushings

Yes use 1/4" nuts instead of the rubber bushings.
