Which is better or is it just a matter of opion?? After the first of the year i will be acuiring 351w and was wondering if it would be an ok upgade in my 94 gt..
windsor or cleveland?????

Well the motor i am going to be getting is a 351w and it is complete for the most part..... I just need to convert it to EFI.. I dont really want to run CArb.

A 351C with 2bbl heads can make some big power. They are monsters. A 351W won't even come close power wise. But the Cleveland is a bigger block and may give you mounting problems.

When u say huge power how much you talking about?? What kind of power could i get with a W.. I am not looking for a 700hp car just a lil street beast..

Hey Truuble ? for ya.. I am not sure yet if the motor i am getting is a roller or non roller.. If it is a non roller do i need to convert it or leave it..

its most likely a non-roller. i beleive the only roller 351ws came in 93 lightnings, 95 cobra rs, and saleen s-351s. you can convert them to rollers pretty easy by taking a trip to your machine shop and buying a roller conversion kit, i beleive edelbrock makes one
parts for the cleavland are going to be really expesive unless you know somebody as for power the cleavland is just killer but i think for your application(me not knowing what your going to do with it) the windsor will work good

I have a 351W in my 76 f150 and it has alot of torque for a big heavy truck. I would love to have one in an sn95

the 351 windsor will be plenty for your "street beast". a buddy of mine has a 377 stroker (351W) with a procharger D1sc
on it in his 91 hatch, and it runs damn good. plus a 351 W swap is a lot easier than a 351 C.
Jegs has a 351W swap kit with everything you need (motor mounts, headers, etc...) for around $1,000.

i only know cleveland parts are harder to find and really expensive.
windsor would seem practical and sufficient but its mainly what you want to do with the car. if your just looking for a street car, i would say windsor because of the lower price tag on parts and stuff and you aren't looking for 800+ horsepower.

Although your engine is certainly healthy, you're not making 850 horsepower. You'd trap in the 140+mph range N/A if you were making that much power.

I expect to do just that on a good tune. That's only 3 mph more than what it has run without a tune.
The cars making that kind of power N/A (e.g. those in the NMRA Hot Street class) are running 8s in the mid 150 mph range. Going 140 (with a zero) does not = 850 horsepower. I would surmise that based on your trap speeds you're probably making in the high 600s. Just my humble opinion.
