Well, winter is sadly approaching to us unlucky people who get snow, which means 4 months of hibernation for my car. Since I have to start all over with a new car, I have a few things lined up over this winter just to make the car drive better and hopefully get my 12 second slip NA. Here is my plan for this winter, I should be able to get my exhaust come next month, since I get a $1000 grant from the government next month for completing my first level of auto technician training
. What's every one else doing this winter?
For sure getting done:
replacing that god-awfully hacked together flowmaster system.
replacement= Off/road x-pipe to match my longtubes and a Borla stinger S catback
1/2 Intake spacer and getting the car re-tuned come spring since I had to erase the old one to pass safety inspection
Line Lock- cause I don't want to screw my rear brakes up more than they already are
New tires for my escape, looking at BFGoodrich Rugged terrains
If money permits, and should if nothing unexpected comes up...:
Tubular K-member+A arms
Replace those stiff and terrible H&R race springs with front coil overs and stock mach rear springs
Replace my leaking header gasket on the driver side, would do with k-member since that's the only way to do it.
I also want to get a 01 cobra bumper for it and get the hood repainted. For some reason this car's paint chips WAY easier than my old one, and I would get an invisible car bra put on too.
