Well, winter is sadly approaching to us unlucky people who get snow, which means 4 months of hibernation for my car. Since I have to start all over with a new car, I have a few things lined up over this winter just to make the car drive better and hopefully get my 12 second slip NA. Here is my plan for this winter, I should be able to get my exhaust come next month, since I get a $1000 grant from the government next month for completing my first level of auto technician training :D. What's every one else doing this winter?

For sure getting done:
replacing that god-awfully hacked together flowmaster system.
replacement= Off/road x-pipe to match my longtubes and a Borla stinger S catback
1/2 Intake spacer and getting the car re-tuned come spring since I had to erase the old one to pass safety inspection
Line Lock- cause I don't want to screw my rear brakes up more than they already are
New tires for my escape, looking at BFGoodrich Rugged terrains

If money permits, and should if nothing unexpected comes up...:
Tubular K-member+A arms
Replace those stiff and terrible H&R race springs with front coil overs and stock mach rear springs
Replace my leaking header gasket on the driver side, would do with k-member since that's the only way to do it.

I also want to get a 01 cobra bumper for it and get the hood repainted. For some reason this car's paint chips WAY easier than my old one, and I would get an invisible car bra put on too.

sounds like a busy winter for ya.
My plans are:
install my roll cage sitting in the garage
Corbeau TRS's microsuade
Kaenen S281 spoiler
replace my halo headlamps for smoked cobras/smoked fogs
get my car retuned and see whats going on with my converter
...that should keep me busy, here in NJ for the past years we have been getting clobbered with snow so I usually have a good 5 month hibernation period

I've got a big list of things to get done this winter, first is buy a truck looking at a couple so should have one within a few weeks. After that ill start on the car, gonna try and have it all done and tuned by spring time as most of the big stuff I already have sitting in the garage.

Parts I already have
Complete HP turbo kit
injectors
maf
cam
etc

Parts I still have to pick up,
subframe connectors
shocks/ struts
gauges
u/l intake
tb
gaskets
clutch

Among many other things, so I've got a pretty big project for this winter.

Welllll.....this winter I'm gonna TRY....

To buy another mustang lol. I guss that'll be my driveway modification...

And riceslayer, a good alternative for those tires for your escape is general grabbers all terrains. I've read numerous reviews online from people getting 60k miles out of a set. I'm about to get me some for my exploder. Not bad for a cheaper tire with good tread design. Just a heads up!!!

I love the general grabbers on my "prerunner" truck. Good grip in the sand and lots of life on asphalt

These BFGs just came out in June, So I'll be a guinea pig with them. I was looking at Hankook Dynapros aswell as Goodyear Fortera tripletreds. I don't mind, the mileage life, I don't average maybe 15k kms a year between my 2 vehicles, this year is way more considering I commute 160km everyday for school lol.

Yea for the price and the miles you get out of them you can't beat em really. Of course I prefer some bfg all terrains, but don't wanna fork over $200 a tire for em.

Try $325 a piece new for 35" BFG, plus the grip isn't all that great on the all terrains, but I do like that they're pretty quiet on the highway.
