My Fiancee's dad gave me a perfectly good wiper cowl but has fading on it from collecting dust and sitting in the sun, how can I restore it and get rid of the fading?

maybe wet sand the hell out of it? but in the time spent on that you could just scuff-n-paint (same thing i do to my ol' lady.)

is it for sure faded? Might just be really dirty.

Could hit it with something like spray nine and a scrub pad. I've have success with that sort of plastic on my car.

Sem trim black part number 39143. Clean it up, spray it, dries pretty fast. Do as many coats until you're content.
