Any helpful hints on how-to run wire to the rear speakers? Better yet, how can you get to those speakers without disassembling the entire rear half of the interior? I ended up tearing up a panel back there pretty good trying to get to them...

When I'm in m,y trunk looking up at my speakers there are four screws coming down towards me. There is no way to unscrew them, or take them out from underneath... Pics later today.

I'll get pictures up when I get home on Tuesday. Four nuts are completely unapparent. There are four screws coming down, however.

I don't really need to get them out as much as I need to know how to wire them because I bought new speakers for the doors. As far as I can tell, the ones in the back look like the stock door speakers...5x7 or 6x8 whatever they are.

I was going to use the rear speakers in the front because I had no door speakers. Now I have door speakers but don't know where to run my wires to get the rear speakers to working. Under the carpet, behind the rear seats, how?

for the rear? there should be wiring already there but if you want to run new wiring I run it out behind my dash, down under the carpet by the pedals, then under the scuff plate, under the carpet again then I run it along the side of the rear seats then into the trunk.

Finally got some pics. As you can see, they are not set up how you described...

I need to do the same thing...they come out from the top...remove the rear seat, side panels & the rear shelf..be careful not to break anything, tabs etc...

They are the same size as the front speakers..6x8's / 5x7's

I ran a speaker wire temporarily under the center console, then under the carpet on the side of the drive shaft hump worked it into the center of the rear seat area & up to the speakers...when I pull the rear out I'll run the wires along the sides.
