My clutch has pretty much been out of my SRT for the past couple of months. Been slowly saving up for it, ordered my clutch and a pivot fork and now its time to take it to the shop. The plan has been to load it on our trailer and just tow it over to the shop which is about 7ish miles away. My dad came home a minute ago and told me that when he gets back from running an errand we're going to run it over there, but we're not going to use a trailer because "if it can make it up on the trailer, it can make it to the shop". I never realized that if my car can make it down the driveway and up some ramps, it can make it 7 miles.

Looks like I might be trying that stuff from the clutchless shifting thread sooner than I thought.

He's going to be following me, but its just annoying that he won't listen to me. I really don't think it's going to make it all the way there and there isn't really reason not to just load it up now.

have him follow you with the trailer, you need a ride back and having it there if you need it will save time time of hooking/unhooking it while its empty.

He didn;t want to load up the trailer at all so he followed me there and mmaaaannnn I BARELY made it. If I would have had to stop just one more time, I think I would haven't made it. It was close. It was slipping something fierce which made hills a challenge but I made it. Wooo! And clutchless shifting is pretty easy with the SRT

True story we had an SRT in a few weeks ago, needed a TOB, Clutch, and pivot fork. He called chrysler and bitched about ti, they covered the fork and the labor for the fork and he paid for the tob and clutch. He got a good deal.

He got a helluva deal, how'd he pull that one off? I got my clutch for pretty cheap ($220ish) off eBay (Sachs, identical to Mopar unit except for box, included TOB) and got my clutch fork for $170ish I think and labor is another $250 from the shop I use.
