Doing a clutch rebuild next week and LRS won't be open the day I'll need the part and can't order before hand because the rebuild is scheduled for next Saturday and I get paid on the day before.
Also reason to this AD is I need a flywheel to resurface because since I'll be at a friends house in Temple so using a local machine shop is out of the question. I'll need to have the extra flywheel resurfaced before heading down

An auto parts store will order it before you pay for it in most cases. Just get a new flywheel, it's not much more.

You can just get a clutch from a parts store there cheap there too. Under 200 for a stock replacement

Yes but they are not something I'd ever put in my car. Not to mention im sure the first time I tried to powershift that clutch would probably fall apart. SVE was the one I was originally going with.
That and the throwout bearing might as well be made from plastic

How can you pay someone here for a clutch and flywheel plus overnight shipping?

I say you just beg, borrow or steal the money to get the kit you want. Either that or reschedule your install for later.

Like I said, been there. My 00 GT was so bad it would holler as soon as you touched the pedal but it still hung in there well over a month.

Why are you pissin and moaning about auto part store clutches? Zoom clutches really aren't bad. For all intents and purposes, you car is stock. No need to get some big beefy clutch. All you willl do is wear out your leg and your thrust bearing.

Im not looking for a beefy clutch but I want something that will feel stiff and not sloppy, yes I know my car is stock but that doesn't mean I got to go after bottom of the barrel shit.

This ^ yea I use them lots for a basic bolt on car a stock replacement is still fine. I had well over a 100 passes on slicks on stock replacement clutch in my bolt on 2v like your car so you should be fine

i would rather have a slipping clutch than a broken Trans.. Quick trip to the auto parts few hours later like new almost no $ spent.
