ok first its a 94 lumina with the 3.1 mpfi motor. new head gaskets, timing chain and gears, coil packs, icm, ecm, plugs, wires, crank sensor, one new fuel inj., and no matter what i have replaced i am still getting a miss in CYL 5 ONLY. I have unplugged the map sensor and the miss is less noticeable, does not have a vacuum leak, the wires are routed correctly, plugs gapped correctly, i am lost and have no clue anymore, heres a pic of the dry intake runner on cyl 5 and a vid of the noise. any help would be greatful.

Valve seal is related to oil consumption. Injector was replaced and then had same issue so I swapped another injector in there from a cyl that is working same problem has not changed. Comp. Test is good and I have done seafoam and might do it again.

I fought this battle with a 02 Buick Century.'

It was the guide sticking on the valve. Had the head rebuilt first, still did it. Had another shop go over it w a fine tooth comb and found a loose valve. Rebuilt it again and all ok.

But check compression, and check the injector trigger with a noid light first

Did you change the plugs, and wires? Just because they are gapped right does not mean they are working right.
