I'm without my car for a while :(. One of my O2 sensors got broken so now I have to wait til Monday to get paid then go to advance auto parts or orielys and get 4 new ones, and on top of that i have to get new bolts for my o/r x to the cat back because we had to cut the bolts to get the old h-pipe off.

Magnaflow or bassani. They make there stuff outta stainless unlike most of the competitors.

I was lucky to find a magnaflow high-flow catte-x on craigs list in great shape. Thing still looks good as new now 3 yrs later just a very well made product imo.

x pipe - most hp but sounds like a sright pipe set up. h pipe - sounds better if your looking for a real muscle car tone.

pushrod 302's sound better with an H pipe IMO....I have drooled over a 4.6 with x pipe & Borla Stingers for years now! Wow it is a good sounding pair.

Nah I had a Bassani Xpipe on my Cobra I sold it when i got long tubes with a matching Hpipe. I regret it to this day. X pipe sounds way better IMHO.

Honestly the best sounding vehicle I ever had was my 95 Cobra with MAC longtubes, MAC O/R H and Dynomax Ultraflow catback. Great rumble at idle but not super loud, nice off idle tone but again not too loud, ZERO drone on the highway at cruise like chambered mufflers can have but when you stepped on the go pedal OMFG it would SCREAM. The previous owner of my current 98 put a pretty nice exhaust in too though. FRPP shorties, BBK catted H and Dynomax chambered mufflers (similar to flows but sound better IMO and don't drone nearly as bad). I honestly still say whether you go with H or X or whatever, get whatever will fit best and is the best quality. I would NOT get a a MAC midpipe for shorties as I had two that had garbage flanges at the collectors that would just bend with not very much torque. Me with a standard 3/8 ratchet and one hand should not be able to bend them lets just say that... Their longtube stuff however fits GREAT.
