X-Pipe open Air Tube hole?

So i fixed the o2 senson problem and now the x-pipe has an open hole , the air tube goes there. What can i plug that with, i called

PYPES and they told me to just get a rubber hose and plug it. I though about and said shouldn't it melt? Any options on how to plug it.

I just got a bolt of the right size and wound it in with the ratchet, smear a bit of exhaust gum on it first and it will "thread" itself in.

go to a muffler shop and have them weld up that hole. they should charge less than 20 bux for it.
my roomate had the same problem with his 94 cobra and now he doesn't suffocate in his own
exhaust fumes!

A rubber tube with a bolt jammed in the end will work fine, and won't melt. I've used that method successfully for years.

best thing is go to a muffler shop and have the hole brazed shut

X2. I did the same the thing when i was in a pinch as a temp fix but it wound up being a two year fix. When I got a hold of a welder, I took the rubber plug off and it was still sealing before I burnt it shut so it will hold

I have had a rubber tube on there for over two years and it is fine. When I wanted to plug that hole, I grabbed a quarter or a nickel... I cant remember but shoved it into the rubber tube and had a hose clamp around the outside of the tube in the same spot as the coin and tightened it up and it didnt leak for about a month before I hooked it all back up.
