Got one of my electric exhaust cut outs tonight, getting the 2nd one tomorrow maybe. One is used and ones brand new, came off my sisters bf's v6 with single exhaust. Can't wait to get these puppies installed, not bad either for getting them for free haha.

Anyone know how loud these things really are? His V6 was ridiculously loud with this thing open. I have the stock catted h pipe, so any thoughts on where I should get then welded in? I was thinking right after the cats, idk if they can weld them in before them. Should be pretty loud anyways

A couple months ago, an 04 cobra pulled up to one of our local meets with his cutouts open. It sounded like a bat straight out of hell.

The exhaust shop is gonna wire it up for me. Think they just need to be connected to some sort of power like to the shifter. Where should i get the button mounted? Need some where stealthy like maybe inside the ashtray

I would recommend putting them before the cats. The cats are gonna restrict the sound a lot.
It's better to have it too loud with an off switch than to put them after the cats and you regret them not being how you wanted.

if you're getting an aftermarket midpipe i'd wait til you get that to have them installed
