Several months ago I had a Griggs coilover front suspension installed in my GTS. I've been having lots of work done on the car and haven't really had time to play with it, but in the little driving I've done I've been amazed at how I can now accelerate all the way through turns. It really reduces understeer.
So my plan all along has been to get the rear coilover suspension, too. I ordered that, and I have the parts. But then I started looking at the installation instructions. It shows pictures inside the car of a gutted interior. I figured it went into existing mounting points like the front does. I knew it had subframe connectors that required welding, but I figured that all happened under the car.
Oh well, it's really gonna be stiff when it's done! Anyway, I can't use my regular shop to get the work done, but they recommended a place. After I get that put in (removing and replacing the interior on my own is gonna be fun) all that's left to do is the brakes.
Does anyone else here have a Griggs rear suspension? I did a search and saw people talking about how cool they are, but didn't see that anyone mentioned having one.
