06-07 Vette

A Z06 is supose to run high 10's low 11's stock but this was the "baby" corvette(not the Z06). The Z06 is a killer but the are not allowed at the track without a rollbar.

Ive seen lots of Z06's at the track. They allow them to run its just if your under 11.49 then you need a roll bar. The dont based on who can run and who cant just b/c of what kind of car it is. Ive seen supercharged 96-98GT's running high 13's, case in point.

theres nothing better than beating expensive showroom sports cars with old moddiefied cars, the looks you get are priceless.Exp when they snob at your car and then lose and make excuses....rofl

You say that and dollar for dollar, yes you could....do it with the same reliability, driveability, and all around performance...never happen. I've built and driven a handful of C-6s now and they are bad. 13.5:1 compression, ported stock heads, cam, intake, and e85...600rwhp naturally aspirated all day.

Think about it. The distance technology has come safety wise is night and day since 2004 (the last sn95 built). multiple air bags and sensors etc. Cars are built better and making more power than ever. They're engineered from the factory to run the speeds and times they do. Our 94-95 Mustangs were engineered to handle 225 whopping horsepower...2013 GT500 holds 660+...and was DESIGNED too. Can you make it handle more, for sure. But not everyone does it right. The factory however does it right. Thats the reasons for the rule change. My next car will be a 2008+ Vette for sure.
