Dude, that is freaking awesome! Props to anyone who knows how to work on a V6 (throw a turbo on it! haha)

Reminded me of my friend Ron and his Black '96 Turbo V6...

thanks everyone! ive got some big plans for the off season this year. Gonna step up to 80lb injectors, inline pump, sheet metal upper intake and a 65mm tb. Then gonna get a good tune for 20 psi, possibly race gas. I expect on race gas no less than 550 to the wheels.

well to tell you the truth the single port heads can be made to flow just the same as the split port heads. Both being ported as much as they can. Per supersixmotorsports specs the difference is only 20cfm on the intake side, and the single port exhaust side will actually flow more than the split port. Now i dont have the stage 3 yet, and could yield a lil more by stepping up. But if you look at my overall combo its more impressive running a stock ported upper with a 56mm tb than the heads alone. I have the bbk tb that was port matched with the stage 3 upper. Remember that the stock tb was also 56mm. So even with the porting i wasnt gaining that much in flow over stock. And stuffing 20psi thru that and running what i ran was more impressive than anything i think.

yeah, ive seen SSM's head flow numbers. i just ddint know you had SSM heads, i thought got your stock ones ported at a local shop or something. thats crazy that you are running only stage 2 heads with a stock upper and the dinky Singleport TB size. i r jealous

haha thanks! If it helps the upper is a stage 3 ssm upper. It helps with the flow but in talking with Tom@ssms we tend to think that at this point the 56mm tb and upper are a restriction. So a ssms sheet metal will be goin on in the spring w a 65mm tb. It will allow a lil more air and should even drop the air temps a lil. I hope to go a lil lower in the et area. If i hit mid 10s consistently ill be happy!
Also im running a stock suspension, minus front sway, and with subframe connectors, and rear sway. If i get some suspension crap i could probably drop a couple more tenths with a transbrake too. Too much crap to think about.

sorry i dont run in classes or events. They usually dont have v6 classes. Not to mention my car isnt exactly legal to run what it does. I just go to test and tune nite at beech bend and give her hell. Its too much money to make my car track legal and the sleeper affect goes out the window when a cage is in the car.
