1995 Cobra Coolant Temperature Sensor... Where is it?

For some reason my stock one isnt working. I cant figure out where the hell this thing is. lol. Also, if worse comes to worst, where is a good spot to install an aftermarket one? Please help me out, I need to tell how hot this thing is running.

It's a bitch and a half to pull it out. It's a screw in type deal, but the stock one is plastic, so be careful that you don't snap it off like I did. :nonono:

If you are only wanting to replace the one that is for the gauge, it is the one on the driver's side. The one in the front by the thermostat sends signals to the computer, and not the gauge.

wasnt hard for me :dunno:

took awhile to thread in, but otherwise not a problem

Mine snapped off, so I had to drill out the center and use a dremel with a brush to get all the rest of the plastic out. It wasn't hard I guess, just time consuming...

soak the threads with PB or WD-40 for like 15 Min and it should snap free without breaking...Make sure you use teflon tape on the new one!
