Alright, my car is a automatic and it just started doin this thing where when im comin to a stop, its like the transmission isnt gearing down and it starts lugging and makes the car shut off if i dont put it up in neutral. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? Any help would be greatly apprieciated, Thanks.

Try cleaning your iac...if that doesn't work you may need to replace it.

next time try manually shifting it into 1 or the lowest gear and see what happens, it might help get you into the right direction as to whether it is a trans issue of not going into 1st or needing to clean the IAC,MAF, and adjust the TPS

well ive tried putting it in to first and it still lugs down. We've also cleaned all the sensors on the intake a month ago when we thought it was something up there making my car run like crap, but it turned out to be the computer. So i dont think anyhting up there is ditrty, but maybe the IAC is faulty
