Ford rated the bhp as ‘460’ But these numbers say it’s likely making over 500 from the factory! It’s not far behind the Shelby GT350. Also look at that torque!

Looks like it’s time to stop messing with power mods and just save up for the new pony....lol!

I wonder if any of the engine mechanical parameters are different from coyotes 3yr old? Cause a 2017 isnt any different from a 2015. I bet they have found new ways of direct injection to further power.

Yes it has direct and port injection as well as 12:1 compression vs the gen 2's 11:1. They use similar bore liners as the voodoo now so the bore is just slightly bigger, the gen 2 was technically a 4.95 liter engine and now it's 5 and some change. They also made the valves bigger, messed with the vvt, and bumped up the rev limiter by 500 rpm.

Hmm....now i wonder what the penalty will be using this 2018 engine in the coyote stock class?
