Might be getting new tires for my bday. Found pics of the exact tires I want and 275/40s on 17x9s. I was thinking of running H&R Trak + Hubcentric 25MM (1") spacers- Anyone have experience with this tire size and 1" spacers? Heres the pic of the wheel/tire combo

I've gt 275/40's on my 17x8's and kinda feel like they should stick out a bit more too. I plan on a set of 18x10's for the back one day to make up for it though :headbang:

I want to say it would look similar to mine, tho I realize I have a ne but still. I run 275's stretched on 10.5s pushed on 1.5's because I'm too cheap to buy 315's

Gotcha. 99-04s axles are like 1" wider than 94-98s, so its like you got 3.5" spacers compared to me lol. I think the 1" would look good with the 275s. The tires should be flush, if not stick out a little which I want. thanks joey

No prob boss. And remember now, I run an SN axle on my car off a 98 Cobra. So mine tuck in even further. So technically I have less spacer lol

There 3/4" each side... Go with a wider rim and do it once. You'll thank me.

What's the offset on the wheels though? Some people could have a different offset.. So don't base your purchase off of a picture from someone with a different offset than yours..

There either 24mm or 26mm offset. So 1" or more should be good. I'm asking for these for xmas.

Ask for cash and buy them yourself, much more satisfying in my opinion to open up the box from USPS/UPS/FEDEX than it is opening presents. Everytime I get a shipment in it's my own little holiday!

There 24mm offset for my wheels. So throw on a 275, that should be close to the fender. Add an inch, or the 1.18" spacers would be better i think.

Boom Ferocious hit it perfectly that's almost identical to mine Joe. And yeah when I blew out my rear end I found a 98 Cobra dropout with an Auburn Pro diff, Moser 31's and 3.73's with only 12k on the whole body of the car lol so I jumped on that shit

And yeah Win is totally right there is no substitution for a wider wheel, but wider wheels cost a lot more money than spacers right now and with your limited budget throw some on for now till you can afford wider wheels man. You know the drill tho. Shit I run 10.5's WITH spacers haha. But that's because like I said I'm a cheap bastard. I'm using my BFG's before I put 315's on
