make sure if you don't skimp on having the cams degreed. Nick can do them for you before he ships you whatever cams you choose. As far as which cams to choose, the Stage 2 for either N/A or Nitrous would be a good start depending on what you have planned mods wise. For my Gt in the spring It's probably getting a 2.5 N/A cam.

Well the reason I wanna get 300 to the wheel be for boost is cuz once I do turbo I wanna go all out but I dont wanna have a lot of down time. Over the years I found out a lot of down time makes me less interested in the project if you kno Wha I mean I kno I'm goin to get a another engine to build for fi when the time come but I wanna play with the car for a year or so be for I see it seating on jack stands lol.

If you are keeping the NPI heads don't look anywhere other than at MHS. The off the shelf comps or whatever will not benefit those heads nearly as much and it will become a waste.

Yea I'm keeping the npi heads but I'm goin to have them ported since I have another set already off a vic

you're not going to want to run high compression if you plan on a turbo, so getting 300 at the wheels is getting more and more unrealistic.

Just swap a 5.4 or dohc 4.6. I'm with that guy. I've thrown money at this engine and it's never enough. Do something decent if you have the resources.

That would be my choice.

Don't do a 5.4 swap. It will nickle and dime you to death on adaption parts and have the most downtime. And not make very good power realistically compared to other options and cost. It's not more stroke mod motors want. They need a bigger bore. A 4v swap can be worth it. Although, you'll spend the same amount of money/time getting around 270 wheel with a stock 4v as you would if you kept a 2v and modded it.

Just keep in mind that the stock bottom end can handle UP TO 450 rwhp.....I have seen them go with less. Any more you will be risking that dreded down time.

Not bad. I had a friend who had one. He said that it was running out of steam around 5,000 rpm....It really dosnt matter, since most auto cross courses are tight, and you probably will never get up to top gear.

You don't want to get a kb for the B head cars. A non intercooled Kb makes bad power for the money you dump into it compared to other blower options. Not to mention they heat up fast and rob even more power.

If you want forced induction go turbo, or centrifigal. That's the only "good" option for these cars.

I really do c my self Geting a sc just cuz I love the sound of the turbo when it spools up an I kno more about turbos then I do sc
But back to the topic with full bolt on an an I good cam an ported heads an pi intake I should get close to 300 right

Yes, depending on how aggressive the cams and tune gets you should get close. Especially with porting. Be sure they focus on the exhaust side. And if you don't already have some get some longtube headers.
