ive had my 5.4 bottom end rebuilt an finished for sometime now. just family an funds seem to tough to pass lol. anyway my plan for the

5.4 was, stock pi heads, with a good strong cam, an the hps intake, with a good street tune. what cam do u guy think would make the

best/biggest power an tq without being to wild. an i also am able to get my hands on a 03 pi motor, for around the same price i could finish

up my 5.4. do u all think i should scrap the 5.4 an go with the 4.6pi or what??? iam super curious on what u all think would be the better build,

the 5.4 or the 4.6?????

more cubes will make more torque. torque is fun for a street car.

You can do either or really. If you do some nice cams 270's, do some nice port work on the heads and go from there. On a 4.6 you can get 300 out of it. With a 5.4 I would think good tune the right port work and some lts you can get 400 out of it and have a ball.

Go with the 5.4, be a little more custom work to get it fit and work though.

ive read the 5.4 swap thread on here, an from what i gather from it is that the 54 is pretty much a direct swap. what is the custom work u speak of. this will be the first motor ive ever built, so im wanting to take my time an do things right. i dont want to be the fastest i just want something fun for me.

I honeslty dont know but im sure you may have to move a few things. The 5.4 is a higher block then the 4.6 but my understanding is they are all pretty much the same. PM 330cubeGT Frank willf fill you in.

from what i have seen its basically widening the h pipe, adding some length to some harness wires and maybe notching the hood. everything else in the write-up is bolt on..
