Why do you recommend that?
There is little to no gain if that. If you have them and want to save some money run them. But you will pick up power for sure with some long tubes. Given neither are fun to install and the long tubes are a pain to work around but doable

Yeah I already had them and don’t want the associated problems with long tubes. I decided to buy some shorties a while back got a real good deal.

I heard the jba shorties are okay but pricey. I’ve been wanting to go long tubes, but I’m auto so it’ll be really tight.

Honestly, no port, no polish, install bigger intake valve would be the better gain. Be sure the port is rough, not smooth

Yes I will be getting the bigger valves, and I did leave the ports more on the rough side and not smooth.
