There is little to no gain if that. If you have them and want to save some money run them. But you will pick up power for sure with some long tubes. Given neither are fun to install and the long tubes are a pain to work around but doableWhy do you recommend that?
I heard the jba shorties are okay but pricey. I’ve been wanting to go long tubes, but I’m auto so it’ll be really tight.Yeah I already had them and don’t want the associated problems with long tubes. I decided to buy some shorties a while back got a real good deal.
I also don’t like the headers being lower and them scraping over every speed bump.I heard the jba shorties are okay but pricey. I’ve been wanting to go long tubes, but I’m auto so it’ll be really tight.
How many hrs did that take youIm done porting the heads, I will now send them to the machine shop.
About 6. Buts it’s a light port, it can easily take about 8 hrs for a serious port and polish. How many hrs did that take you
Yes I will be getting the bigger valves, and I did leave the ports more on the rough side and not smooth.Honestly, no port, no polish, install bigger intake valve would be the better gain. Be sure the port is rough, not smooth
