Well pulled the driver side header off to get to an oil leak. Looks like the oil filter adapter that goes to the block is going to be a pain to get to seal with the oil filter relocation they provided. But I will use plenty of rtv this time and cross my fingers!

Still leaking oil a little. Got the carb in, it is fricken sweet. In the process of getting it to idle smoothly. But going to have to get rid of that oil leak first. Here is the carb..

Not a startup, but a little teaser! Don't think I hit any sort of boost was mostly watching the a/f. Lean as I roll into the throttle but as the secondaries open I was sitting right at 12's

Still have that pesky oil leak. But want to try and get it ready for some cruising this weekend.

Did a little more tinkering. Still is idling pretty high but got that off idle stumble taken care of. I was able to get it into about 4psi. Wide open throttle the afr dropped into the 10's so I will need to lean that out a little. But it went pretty well!

Took it out a little more and turned the boost up to 10psi. It's pretty healthy at that and think I'll start roasting the clutch if I turn it up more. So I'll leave it there. I'm getting good afr's at wide open throttle. Needle a little help on the idle circuit. But overall love the blow thru carb. And Roger and Chase have top notch customer service.

I'll try and get a video this weekend

It takes a little tuning, but so would efi. The customer service at C&S is awesome. And the carb out of the box was pretty dang close! I love it!

Over all, how much of a pita would you say it was to swap to a carb?

I know thats subjective but I'm sure you will be honest lol!

The hardest part was the fuel system. Which was still easy. I sumped my tank and did braided lines all around. I wired the mod 6 box and slapped a carb on there and pretty much took it on a 3 hr cruise.

My buddies car us on m.s. and honestly he has spent more time getting it sorted out. He has more capabilities rhan i do when its done, but for what I'm doing with my car I'm plenty happy with with my carb, especially the blow thru.
