300 hp N/A build with 100 shot..

So i have put a lot of thought into my mustang, and i have finally decided what is going to change with it this summer..


Engine:
I have a 27k mile nPI 4.6 that is going to be PI swapped,
with machined PI heads,
Comp Cams 270 grind cams
Comp Cams beehive springs
K&N FIPK
C&L Air inlet
Accufab Plenum
Dragon Throttle body
24# injectors
underdrive pullies
Nitrous Express 15lb Bottle with warmer. 100 shot
Diablo Sport Tuned

Suspension:

alignment
new shocks
install caster camber plates
subframe connectors
upper control arms
lower control arms
new rag joint

Visual:
Paint back bumper
Tint Taillights
white faced gauges
Nitrous Gauge install
fog light switch for fan
smoked head lights
smoke 3rd brake light and side reflectors
tinted windows
fix paint issues
HID conversion
paint brake calipers
Mach 1 Chin Spoiler

Other:
Hurst line lok
bushings for stock shifter arm on steeda triax
Install Dynomax Catback
new tires..

Def sounds like the motor will be a strong one. Good idea to switch out the springs for sportlines. How do they Maxspeed run anyway??? Post up some pictures when you get a chance. Since you will have a PI conversion try a bassani mid pipe or a pro chamber with a slp LM II.

I currently have maxspeed springs in the front, and a prokit in the rear with no iso's. It's so low in the front, it bottoms out alot, so i want to go to something a little bit taller. I might trade for some magnapacks..

Got the valve springs, new leather seats, new tires, lots of parts from mustang matt (4.6 windsor parts) and its coming together well..

coming back from the body shop tomorrow, after my neighbor backed into it..


also got the CC plates installed.. and purchased a pypes violator catback.

Scratch off those 24# injectors and go alittle bigger.

I decided not to get injectors right now.. and when i do, they'll be bigger ones..

why if that is all your doing 24#s will be fine I have pretty much same setup and 24s work awesome! just on the dyno and a/f ratio was right where it neede to be!

I decided that i probably wont even need 24 lbers right away, so im gonna wait and maybe get some bigger injectors when its blower time.

Long story short, my neighbor hit my car, and damaged the fender.. it got repaired and looks awesome, they installed my cc plates for me, and painted my door as well.. looks good.

I also installed the new rag joint that cost me 25 bucks shipped, and it fixed my steering play.

After i drove it 20 miles back from the alignment shop, it felt like it was gonna fall apart, it hit bumps so hard.. thought it was a ball joint but decided i blew a shock. time to install some on thursday.

did you have to notch the pistons for that cam?

Nope, but they were degreed.. checked the clearances and it was all good to go.

Thanks. I'd have to go with cams AND a blower.. they are high end cams.. it drives like stock till 3k, then hauls ass up to 6 +

I basically have the exact same build as you with Zex And SCT.

Got the cobra hood to.


How was the cam install with the motor in the car?

it wasn't done in the car.. we took a crown vic bottom end, and put pi heads on it, and then put in the comp 270s, then dropped it in the car.... decided to take out my old 165k bottom end and replace it with a 27k mile fresher bottom end

Mines out right now to but I have everything to get it done in the next couple weeks, I can't afford cams and valve springs right now, and that really sucks. lol
