302 mexican Block .40 over good???

Hey guys there is someone locally that has a 302 .40 over mexican block he wants 275 for it do you think its a good idea??? :santa_grin:

Mexican block was made in mexico. i kno of the 351M block. It was made very similar to the "emission friendly" 400 block. The heads off a 351C will fit a 351M except the pushrods. Also the whole casting itself is alot thicker; cylinder wall etc. the bell housing has the same bolt pattern as the big blocks 429/460 blocks to match with the heavy duty c6 trans.
I dont know if i would go through with this. personally i would stick with the windsors.

The Mexican 302 blocks have the same bolt pattern as normal ones.

You'll have no problems with a .040" over 302 block.
