3.73's are more streetable than 4.10 if you do alot of highway driving I would recommend staying with 3.73's 4.10 will make your car scream and rev high at highway speed...

Do you complain about your highway rpm's now? If yes then stay with what you have, if not and want more off the line gear then go with the 4.10

I have 3.73's and do alot of hwy driving, its fine for me but I think 4.10's would be a little much for me on the hwy with as much as I drive. Is your car a auto or 5spd? I always heard the rule of thumb was 3.73's for manual and 4.10's for auto.....or do I have it backwards?

My dad is running 4.10's in his car and he does about 60 miles of round commuting everyday. He's averaging 20 mpg just as long as you drive sensibly and they give a really hard pull. Im a full supporter of 4.10's for sure

oi vey .... this never ending political debate.... please use search button for comparison. but if you insist. 3.73/3.90s on 5 speed for highway usage. 4.10s auto.. 4.10s and lower on 6-speeds IE. 4.56s. the over drive on 6-speeds are phenomonal.

Gears don't add power but it can make it seem like you gained 25HP lol. I have 3.73 and I love them.

Ive been running 4.10's for 5 years now and I got used to 'em. I've always ran 3.73's for years and had to adjust to the 4.10's cause of my commute. 72 miles a day. I dont have any major bolt ons but exhaust and gears and i do approx. 73 mph @ 2500 rpm's in 5th gear. Just to give you an idea. Some people say that they actually felt more pull with 3.73's but I think it comes down to mods.

There is not too much of a difference between the gears from my understanding, stick with the gears you have and use the money for other mods

these threads make me lol...

Im worried about getting traction with my 3.73s, not about adding more gear.

You guys that are worried about 3.73- 4.10s should spend your money elsewhere, like cams or something thats going to add power.

Theres not a big enough differance to go from the 73s to 4.10s IMO.

just go to 4.56s

umm...........what? please tell me what you can get for $130 that makes as much of a difference as gears. It may not help you engine out but you definitely feel the difference.
