next paycheck 4.10's here i come. now with the power i want should i get a drive shaft loop?

Subframes first, then the safety loop. I think you have to run 10 something for it to be required. I never slung a D/S out of my car. But if it makes you feel better, I'll never knock someone for adding a safety feature.
I know some tracks they require you to have a driveshaft loop if you are running with slicks no matter what time your car does.

Huh?

Are you trying to imply that an aluminum driveshaft will lower your cruising RPMS?

It wont.

well i went with 3.73s because if i didnt i heard that if i got 4.10s i would not have a 5th gear or it would be very similar to 4th gear so you will run threw those gears real quick

5th gear is def. longer than 4th gear even with 4.10s... its still a pretty okay highway gear... if you drive 10029348 miles a day on the highway, go with 3.73s... otherwise get 4.10s...

so i will get subframes and the cage. but how much do you want for that 23 tooth gear?

a 23 tooth gear from steeda ran me like, $20.00.... it was indeed white, but with 4.10s it wont be very accurate at all.. the white gear is for 3.55s (specifically, but its the closest you can get for 3.73s and 4.10s...) at speeds below 50 MPH, you will be roughly 5 MPH off, above 50 MPH, roughly 10 MPH off, above 75, roughly 15 MPH off... you need the speedcal from americanmuscle.com to get your speedo right on with 4.10s.

with the bigger than stock gear id need the crazy rpms to get the same speed. with the driveshaft being lighter im getting the same rpms as stock. with less stress. so yes i am.

wow thats news to me. I didn't know lighter stuff made you turn less rpm... while i do know you can turn the rpm quicker with lighter components.

atleast 4.10s or go home. I put 3.73 in the black car because i was talked out of 4.10s. I swaped for 4.10s within 6 months and loved them. Don't spend the money twice like i did.
