vortech v-1 strim

30lbs inj 75 pro m.. blower is the cobra kit with 8 rib one peice lower pulley.

questions..... to run this on my 94 cobra vvith a t-rex fuel pump vvill the 30lb injectors and 75 pro m MAF vvill this be safe and okay???? Running this on my 5.0 ith 112k miles...................

Yeah you will be ok, just get a tune. TBH ive been running the same combo but went back to 24's @ 10psi, ive put 10k on it since the blower install with no tune and the only issue i have now is blow by. Get a tune. I want a tune but never got around to it. The car will run so much better if you will.

What octane can you get in NJ? Definitely get a dyno tune. Don't get crazy with changing pullies to up the boost until you rebuild and reinforce the bottom end. Also a goood set of heads and an upgraded cooling system will increase the efiiciency of your engine. Good Luck. Justin

93 octane is the highest vve have here... VVould like to get a meth kit but not exactly sure hovv that vvorks...

Bump... Got an s-trim... Has a 2.95 pulley on it and anderson power pipe.. Car is at the shop getting the kit installed and tuned... Along with that I got the T-rex fuel pump, 42lb injectors, and a 90mm lightning MAF.. 113,000 on my car..... With king cobra clutch... Safe to say i'm very nervous!

the 2.95 pulley will give it between 10-14 psi lol. the powerpipe another 1-3... tooooooo much

Nervous? Why?

Get a safe tune and you'll be just fine. As long as you don't have blow-by/low oil pressure etc. Have fun with it.

Oh and you can get 94 Octane here in NJ dude...at Sonoco.

Matt Hill in Bridgeton, NJ...... The highest octane at any sunoco by me is only 93

My buddy Dennis was making 560 with an S-trim in a 93 GT that had 125K & full accessories.

That does seem like a lot of boost, if you're so worried about it then why not just...idk run less boost? Get a larger pulley and swap that shiot.

Why would you be concerned about heat? Vortechs are extremely efficient...no need for an intercooler.

Why do you think Prochargers need intercoolers?
