I did before and after videos but was unable to upload so you could hear the difference. So, a verbal description will have to do for now.
The Bassani shorty headers with 4 cats and FlowMaster Super 44 cat backs sounded pretty darn good. That nice, throaty sound we’re all familiar with. It was just the random knocking and banging against the underside that got my goat.
The MagnaFlow dumps, surprisingly, aren’t as loud and obnoxious as I was warned about. They are more noticeable at lower rpm’s, like when rolling through a right turn at an intersection when the stroker is in 2nd for example. But the sound gets back in line very soon and basically just sounds a little beefier! Oh, and no more random knocking/banging since the dumps end at the rear axle and don’t have that hump that goes over the axle.
