5.0 vs 4.6

So, here's the scoop. I bought a 94 gt, that i will be picking up next week, and it has a 306 with hyper pistons, mac LT's, mac prochamber and slowmasters. It also has 373's and UDP's. I was wondering what it would take to beat my friends 01 GT with full bolton's (except cams)

the 01 gt has 75mm tb with plenum, 3:73's, LT's, OR xpipe, mapnapacks, BBK CAI, diablo tune, steeda shifter, nitto dr's, and eibachs.

How do yall think i will match up? and what will it take to pull on him?

what heads, cam, and intake on the 306?

Also having more horsepower doesn't ensure a win, it helps. Driver skill is one of the most underrated add ons(if you will).

E-racing, pointless. The only thing you could possibly compare is time slips, since that is after all, how fast the car really is.

the HCI on the 306 are stock...
and driving skills i got him beat hands down, as far as launching goes anyway.
he dynoed in at 240rwhp and he ran is car once in the 1/4 and ran a 14.1 with a 2.1 60. but all that was before the plenum, LT's, and the DR's...

it'll be a close race either way, unless he just straight up out drives you. And stock HCI on a 306 is like paying a hooker to just make an appearance.

You can get him my old 5.0 had similar mods and was good for 13.7s, so unless he can drive you got him
