got 500 dollars, what would be some wise investments. not too concerned with the body or chassis at the moment.

so far i was looking at:
*steeda tri ax shifter 190
*bbk cold air intake 180
*bbk 70mm throttle body 210
*bbk aluminum underdrive pulley kit 130
*billet smog pump elim. 65
*steeda firewall adjustment kit 100
total:885.00

any particular combination amounting to 500 of this any good? if not, throw some other parts at me. im open to all suggestions

thanks for all the help in advance

unfortunately not very much at the moment and i kinda just got the car so ill post up what i have that i kno for sure.

mods:
*5.0ltr(of course)
*gt40 heads, stock injectors
*stock k&n air filter and stock MAF
*brakes/suspension/drivetrain/body, is all stock
*i got a couple things bolted up on the firewall that im not 100% sure of what they are, my brother is a mechanic and says its just ignition stuff and minor fuel stuff, but with i highly doubt everything is set up right, cuz the guy before my was a complete retard and had NO clue what he was doing. so i not worrying about all that cuz its soon to be replaced anyways.
*exhaust is a POS!! which is why a made the statement that the previous owners a stupid. everything appears to be HOMEMADE. its ridiculous. all the way from the headers to the back. the hears are unequal lenght and there are holes everywhere in the welds, i swear he had to be wasted off his ass when he was doing this.

**^^**so lets just say the exhaust is unequal headers, running no cat or x pipe OR an hpipe. just straight all the way back to the flowmaster dumps of some kind. i dont even kno.

so there goes. just got it as a project car and im lookin forward to takin my time to build it up peice by peice. got 500$ to drop now, so just lookin for some easy bolt on stuff with minor gains. nothin to fancy

p.s. thanks for all the help so far!

the kits looks really nice, but as stated, everything is homemade, which blows!

because when i say this i mean literally, the length of the headers are exactly between that of the shorties and the longtubes, so i cant order and after market x-pipe or h-pipe or cat back. cuz nothing will bolt up. so i would have to order from the headers back. and all those kits run for over 500$ so ill just wait a couple months to take care of it

Get a set of shorty unequal headers, uncatted h-pipe, mufflers and dumps. Cheapest route for a whole new exhaust setup.

thanks for all the help, but i just spent the 500$ on the shifter, firewall adj., and cold air intake. only have 500 cuz my stupid credit card limit wont go up for three months. so i think im just going to go take out a personal loan for about 800 dollars so i can just order a great system from the headers back. been thinkin about the pypes system from the headers to the tips

are your mufflers bolted to the h pipe, or are they welded?

no h pipe. headers run individually all the way back to the dumps. is a peice of junk. hopefully takin out a personal loan this weekend to ditch them and order a real exhaust
