87 GT springs

I have some springs off my buddys 87 GT.. We cut a little off and plan on putting them on my car.. It should be ok right?? I have a 98 GT..

ummm yea its sitting 4x4 now...

Should work. Don't cut the springs before you install them. Try to see how the springs sit first, and then cut springs if necessary.
