im not trying to tell you how to do anything but if your going with a turbo i wouldnt spend your money on headers or even a cam. ive been told the stock cams in our 5.0s are very good for turbos compared to some aftermarket cams, has something to do with the exhaust duration...and youll get special headers for your turbo.....but all of that aside being a fellow black stang member the car looks great. keep us updated

Ok. You have a 95 R hood and want a 2000 R style hood. Thought that was what you meant. Just wanted to be sure.

yea i know more about turbos now.ive done lots of research and im gonna do a custom turbo set up(not a kit).stock cam,gt40 heads, explorer intake(til i find a deal on a better one),megasquirt, not sure what size turbo yet prob around 60-76mm,stock 273 gears haha.this is probably goin doin around summer time.

I have 3.27:1 gears going inine in the next few weeks, whenever I feel like changing them out, replacing the axles and adding the carbon fiber clutches on the trac- lok

sounds nice man, have you decided what injectors youll be running yet? im going with 39lbs, just waiting for On3 Performance to send me my damn MAF lol then i need to find another festiva for a DD and find a place with a garage (an open driveway just isnt safe enough to do a turbo build lol)

39lb from an 03/04 cobra, they are ev6 connectors but since they are high imp. If you get the ev6 to ev1 adapters it'll work great your ecu injector drivers will be good, then buy an adjustable FPR and bump up about 2 to 3 more psi of fuel pressure,it'll be just like having a perfectly matched set of 42lb'ers ...

im probabaly gonna run 30-36lb injectors.i havent figured out specifics yet.im just doing lots of research and saving up money

Yeah, been going for years. Used to go out to Bass Pro and all the Hampton meets back in the day as well but I don't go to that side of the water much anymore.

i go up there everynow an then when weathers warm and i was actually there today but for fishin stuff. u should go on the mustang drive down to obx when the next one comes around
