what's all done to you car... I highly doubt it ran fine you would have all those codes if it did... You be suprice what bad/no o2 sensor can do to performance ,driveability.

Not trying to sound like a dick. Dont take it the wrong way.. was Just trying to help you out... Carb and speed densesity dont use o2 sensors... I just dont see your car passing emissions and being efficient with out tnem.. Since all the eec calculations run of them...
Go unplug your o2 and drive it ...you will see very little if any difference in performance, and I'm sorry if you don't feel it will pass that's your thing , I have a paper to prove it . I also have a hydrocarbon tester ...and it passed the test before the balancer faild, haven't had a chance to test since then .

Not much to know about not running o2. They are there for a reason ford didnt put them on for looks... Being an engineer I figure you would know the importance of things working together.. How is your car going to know if its supplying enough fuel or not enough...
Yes I am an engineer . Yes I know how things work , but if you have no other argument about the o2 than " they arnt for looks" then piss off . I dare you to pull the plug on yours ...see nothing happend did it , no lights , no sputter, nothing .......so just stop . I don't need advice from you , I can figure it out without you , plenty of other people will help .

NO , I think you are a dumb shit but , the topic is 5.0 timing , i had a problem and now that is fixed , YOU started in like Mr. Knowitall and said "its the o2 sensor " without having any idea what you are talking about . Now we are in a pissing contest of minds .......you are loosing . But feel free to keep on living your life knowing everything about mustangs ..im cool with that , YOU are the bitch i out run on a saturday night and take your girl home with me while you try to figure out if your O2 sensor was the reason you lost ....that wasnt it ....its because you suck ..and you pay someone to work on your shit and tell every one else that YOU set it up . THAT IS WHAT I THINK , since YOU asked !!!!
The car will stay in open loop the whole time because the O2s wont feed the info to the computer saying it has warmed up and and they are reading to adjust your trims. The car will run just fine without them hooked up but it will run rich and timing will be advanced and youll hurt your motor in the long run. Short term, yes you can go without them.
