95 gt smog questions

i have a 95 gt 5speed and i have the passenger fender off at the moment. has anyone deleted the smog stuff on their car. if so what all can i remove and is there pros and cons to doing so? i dont have to worry about inspection or emissions.

Think long and hard about getting rid of it. Making it not function is one thing, but taking it off is another. It screws anyone down the road you may sell it to who has to have inspections. I don't know your laws, but never underestimate the need of local gov't to change it's mind and want more revenue.. aka I/M inspections. What ever you do save every nut and bolt, label it, and pack it away just in case for you or someone else.

well the only person the car will go to is my dad. the car stays in the family its not goin anywhere unless its totaled.

Just remove the vac line cluster going to the engine bay .. Leave everything else alone.. I would atleast leave the egr alone.

when i put my HCI on im deleting the egr anyway.

Then just remove the vac lines.. Why remove the when you get no HP out of it.. You gain more by keeping it..

I removed mine to help clean up the engine bay and because I didn't want the crap in there. If you take it all off you do need to plug the holes in the rear of the heads.
