96 4v to 98gt swap (Just finished photos)

Heres where Im at after day one. everything but the powersteering hard line and trans crossmember is unbolted.
the gt should have the motor sitting in it in a couple of days.

Its already in, I just have swap pedals and hopefully she will start. Stabbing the motor tranny combo was a SOB.

that's how I did mine, not that bad if you jack the car way up and pull the shifter/crossmember off the trans.

Yeah it was hellish. I left the rear down and lifted the front up 4 feet, pulled the entire shifter and crossmember. I didnt drain any fluids besides coolant too. ha

I dont know if you can see in the pictures but I lifted it out with a ratcheting strap around the bottom of the engine. that was a headache.

One issue though, I go to crank it, and she fires for a second then dies. Im thinking PATS, but I swapped that from the cobra... cobra PATS ring, key, computer... Any other Suggestions? Im good with diagnosis just need direction, has anyone else experienced similar problems?


UPDATE: PATS was causing this issue. Delta Force took care of that. Car runs like a monster, midrange power is incredibly smooth.

Thats the way I want it, those are just taped on to cover the holes from the gt badges that were removed by the P.O., so Ive got some body work and paint to do.

So both of the local dealerships wont disable my PATS system. :dontknow:
And Im getting sick of not being able to drive that car
Anyone have info or links to affordable tuners equipped with PATS disable?
