96-98 Cobra motor with an auto transmission, will it work?

Need sum help homiez...... I love cars, but I dont kno how to work on em or fix em....... :BangHead:I've been thinking and saving up to drop a motor into my 97 GT. I was thinking of droppin a 96-98 Cobra motor in her...... Now will this work with my automatic trans?
