I don't know why Metra, Schosce, et al can't make things a bit simpler.
ive got a 96 GT with the Mach stereo system (nonfunctional). I'm putting in an aftermarket stereo, but some of the wires to the speakers were cut and wire nutted together. I want to bypass the factory amp and just use the amp in the stereo, and repair the harness. What it looks like I might need is a Metra 70-5514 to bypass the amp and a 70-1770 to repair the harness. Does that sound right? I hate to admit how long I researched this
TIA
