Can’t tell what I’m lookin at in the pics exactly. Basically I’ll need 11.4” to clear this intake. That’s from the top of the block where the dizzy is to the hood.

There is only about an 1”. At the dizzy. And 4” at the back of the carb top to the drain on the fire wall. The measuring tape is flat across the fender. And the msd dizzy is higher.

I’m on meds and drowsy. So you saying there’s definitely not 11.4” from the deck of the block to the hood up by the dizzy?? I think that’s what your saying.

You will need to make or get a snorkel or a cowl. That’s at least 6” or higher to keep everything under hood. My intake is 3” above the tall valve covers. Top of carb sits 1” above stock hood. I have a 36” long 5” high cowl
