Looks like there was bodywork done to this car, the sidescoops are filled. Probably repainted most likely.

Nirwan is right, with the side scoops filled in this car is def not factory stock regardless of its paint color.

You have to see the car in person to get the full story. Was it a Cobra that has been repainted? Is it a GT the guy is claiming to be a cobra? etc






I have my 1998 cobra paperwork from Ford

In 1998 the cobra only came in 5 colors. Including both coupes and verts here are the numbers in color:

Black 2,964

Laser Red 2,078

White 1,536

Chrome Yellow 1,264

BAB Bright Atlantic Blue 812

Sadly no E8 for the 98 cobra. The red offered for cobras was E9.

Only five colors offered for the cobra in 98 and here are their codes.

Black (UA)
Red (E9)
White (ZR)
Yellow (BZ)
Blue (K7)

'94-'98 cobras only came in 7 colors, those ^ with mystic and rio red.

Looks like the body has been redone, it looks awesome none the less. If you're interested I would check it out and make sure it's got a clean title. If it does, I'm sure the body and paint work are worth something to the right buyer
