98 GT built not bought

I want to start a build thread for my GT, its nice to have place to keep track of the modding that is coming.... muhahaha

1998 Mustang GT
Laser Red / Gray Interior
37,000 miles

This is the car on the day I bought it back in August '10

The car is bone stock except for the 17" Fobras, tinted tails, and the mufflers were removed and pipe was welded in. I also took off the ugly pinstriping.

I took her to NE Dragway in Epping, NH and my best time was 15.4 in the quarter... I think I might need the driver mod.

The car has been off the road and stored since the end of october, I can't risk letting it see a NE winter....

I plan to start modding the car as soon as the snow melts in late march or early april. My first mods are going to be a cat-back, SLP 1's or Magnapacks, with an O/R X probably BBK, a short throw either Pro5-0 or Triax, CAI, PI Cams, PI Manifold, tune, chin spoiler, tint and of course get rid of the lift kit with either Eibachs or H&Rs...

This thread will be updated will all of my progress and plenty of pics......

Any feedback is always welcome.

Your not doing to do that with PI cams. I had 304/310 when my car ran a few years ago.

Yes my overall goal is 300RWHP and PI cams wont get me near that. Next year I'm planing on dropping in a set of P/P PI heads with a set of stage 2p cams (modular headshop). Or I could just do a 4V swap........

Duffy will beat you with an npi cylinder head if you do a 4v swap... lol
