they are so clouded lens wise and really don't do anything for light output at night. Plus I think they might restrict a bit of airflow to the CAI. Anyone done it. Just pull the brackets and the lamps and leave the wiring alone or ???

I doubt its restricting any air unless your supercharged/high hp or something that really needs air

If you don’t want them, just unbolt them and tie the wires out of the way. Some models didn’t have them but still had the wiring.

The stock fogs are pretty worthless even when they're not clouded up. I'd like to install a "Cobra" headlight set and clear fogs, but prefer the OEM look.

Just ordered a set of "ultra clear" replacements from LMR for $75. Same issue. My old-ass eyes need all the help they can get.

Copy that. I have to turn the light on to be able to turn the light on. I read something that said starting in your 40s you really need more light, something like 40% more by 50. I believe it.

I see I am 6 months behind. I have a 98 and want to install fog lights I have a kit with lights, wiring switch, everything but the actual mounting brackets. Does anyone want to part with theirs?
