Alright a few months ago i had my ac compressor replaced, i just now start using the a/c.

The problem is that when i turn the ac on it will blow cold at idle, but once i touch the throttle it stops blowing cold air.

Sounds like the system just needs to be topped off. It may have a small leak, or maybe they did not fill it all the way. Go out and buy a can of 134a with the gauge and fill it.

I still think its that pressure switch, but it wouldnt hurt to buy the charge kit at advance and check and top it off. If you wanted to get it I could talk you through it on the phone bro.

this might not be good news. But did you replace your orfice/ filter when you changed compressors? I was in a shop yesterday and they showed me where a orfice/filter was clogged and the back pressure from the pump blew up the a/c line. maybe you might have a partially clogged filter. IDK

i would have never guess at how mush crap is inside the closed system. I have a pic of it but i have to get a photobucket acct. so I can post pics again.

If the expansion valve was clogged,(orrifice) he would have a high head presure and no circulation, which means no cold air at all. They either work or they don't.
Depending on how long the A/C system was open he might need a reciever/dryer(filter) due to water saturation from humidity in the system.
But I still think he just needs a shot of R134a. Without putting gauges on the car you are just guessing at everything with A/C systems.
