I've been chasing the idea of a 351w swap recently. I've been doing a lot of reading on different combos that work well and ones that don't work well. I do have a few more questions about the actual swap part because all I seem to find is information for fox's. And don't say 'search' because I've searched this site pretty thoroughly and everything that looks like it would have info in a thread is too old and will not open for some reason. Also, don't try to say you've gotta have 'x' amount for the swap, because I've already looked into that too. Tax return will be yielding quite a bit of everything I need, hopefully. The mustang50magazine's 351 swap has helped out a lot too.

I know a company makes drop engine mounts, but I'm wanting to retain my stock k member for now. Granted the motor will sit higher w/out them and I would need a hood to clear the engine. But would it be better to use just factory motor mounts to keep it up and off the k member? Has anyone actually found a company that makes 351w swap headers for the sn95's? I think MAC and BBK used to, but they have since quit making them ( or so I've read ).

If anyone has a link to an acutaly 351w swap in a sn95 for like a start to finish thread, I'd appreciate it. Or better yet, any other related info would be awesome too! *cough* Paul *cough*

This is going to be a weekend driven, street, track, everything car. But the track time will probably be limited to about once or twice a summer since all of our tracks around here are so far away.

Stock mounts will be fine. I'd keep it stock height. Just use fox headers. You'll be fine that way. I'd change over to the fox TB. I have a swap pan if you need one. You know where I'm at, right up the road from you in charleston. It's fairly straight forward. I also have the correct 351w distributor.

Stock mounts are fine. I have Accufab mid-lenth 351W SN95 swap headers, with custom exhaust all the way out the back. If it wasn't so huge, I'd sell it to you for a fraction of what I paid and ship it to you.

Otherwise, you have to use fox swap headers, which means no EGR unless you have a bung welded on.

...or you can just buy my 422.

As much as I'd love to have your 422, my wallet won't allow it ( nor the wife ). lol I've got the EGR 'deleted' now, only because when I was installing my performer II intake, no matter what I did I could not get it to line back up ( the EGR that is ). So I tried one final time and snap! I broke the tube that runs down to the manifold. I'm glad that stock motor mounts will work with my factory k, thank you for the wonderful insight! When I actually start the swap, I'll take detailed pictures of everything and all the problems that I run into and post here to hopefully be made into a sticky. :)
