a few problems

ive been encountering a few problems for the past year and figured its time to get it fixed, but i dont know what it is or where to even start. i have replaced both battery and alternator.

1. while driving, whenever i come to a stop the battery guage flickers its way down it a low reading, but when i give it gas the guage goes back to normal position. this becomes a problem when i drive at night when i have my headlights on and im listening to stereo

2. car also seems to never keep charged. for instance if i forgot to leave headlights on for more than 15mins the battery is dead.

3. my car takes 3-4 seconds to start up

could this be a cause of lack of power?

could also be loose or corroded battery cables.

Might want to grab a voltmeter and check your alt output or take it out and take it up to a parts store to have checked.

If you have under drive pullies it'll do that for sure mine is horrible but the batt never has died it charges really well while driving. Take it to advance or auto zone theyll check it for free. somtimes if your batt is weak the altenator will be putting out more volts than it should be to try and keep the batt up and will eventually kill the altenator so the sooner you get it checked the better
